A Field Hockey Club Open to High School and Middle School Field Hockey Players in the San Diego Area
Throughout the year, Wargles enters into different tournaments locally in California and nationally.

The California Cup International Field Hockey Tournament (Cal Cup) started in 1972 by Tom Harris in Moorpark, California. Clubs and teams come from many countries such as USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Holland, Spain, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, India... the list goes on! It is held annually over the Memorial Day Holidays with many age divisions including: U12, U14, U16, U19 & Men/Women's Super Division. Over 2,000 athlete's play over the weekend and many college coaches scout for future players, since the tournament is now a USAFH Sanctioned Event.
The Disney Field Hockey Showcase (Disney) is the ultimate place for top field hockey players to be seen by hundreds of college coaches looking for future field hockey talent. The tournament is held annually at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL in late February. Over 3,000 field hockey athletes played games in front of more than 250 college coaches from across the nation.
The National Field Hockey Festival (Festival) is the world's largest amateur field hockey event. Roughly 5,000 athlete's participate over the weekend to showcase their athletism to college coaches looking for future players. Traditionally, Festival is held during American Thanksgiving weekend at the end of November. It has returned to the Greater Palm Springs, CA area from being held in Palm Beach, FL 2009-2013. This is one of the most important tournaments during the year for players looking to play after high school with the possibility of earning an athletic scholarship.
Play for Mila
The Play for Mila Yellow Ribbon tournament is held annually in the spring at Fallbrook High School. This 7 v 7 tournament remembers a Fallbrook field hockey player, Camila and brings awareness to teen suicide. A portion of the proceeds will benefit yellow ribbon teen suicide awareness and prevention.
Play for Pink
The Play for Pink tournament is annually in May at Vista High School. This 7 v 7 tournament is played over two days and is open to Varsity, JV & middle school teams. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen 3 Day to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
